Desapenari.id – Suasana di Unit Donor Darah (UDD) Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kabupaten Aceh Utara mendadak sunyi dari para pendonor. Akibatnya, ketersediaan kantong darah di fasilitas kesehatan tersebut kini menipis dan hanya mampu bertahan untuk dua hari ke depan.
Pada Senin (9/3/2026), pihak manajemen UDD mencatat total stok darah yang tersisa hanya 76 kantong. Jika terjadi permintaan darurat atau operasi besar yang membutuhkan banyak transfusi, angka ini bisa habis hanya dalam hitungan jam.
Nadya Amris, Direktur UDD PMI Aceh Utara, mengungkapkan bahwa efek bulan suci Ramadhan sangat terasa terhadap animo masyarakat. Biasanya, antusiasme warga untuk menyumbangkan darah cukup tinggi, namun selama puasa, jumlah pendonor turun drastis.
“Kita sadar betul, selama Ramadhan ini minat masyarakat memang berkurang. Tapi kami tidak tinggal diam. Tim kami sudah bergerak dengan menggelar donor darah keliling di sejumlah masjid dan mushalla usai shalat tarawih. Alhamdulillah, hasilnya lumayan meskipun belum bisa menyamai hari-hari biasa di luar Ramadhan,” terang Nadya dengan nada optimis.
Ia memaparkan rincian stok yang ada saat ini: golongan darah A tersisa 31 kantong, B sebanyak 24 kantong, O hanya 19 kantong, dan yang paling kritis adalah golongan AB yang cuma memiliki dua kantong. Kondisi ini tentu membuat pihaknya harus bekerja ekstra keras agar tidak ada pasien yang terlantar.
Untuk mengatasi situasi genting ini, UDD PMI Aceh Utara tidak hanya mengandalkan donor umum. Mereka juga aktif menerapkan sistem donor pengganti. Pihak rumah sakit dan keluarga pasien diminta berkoordinasi agar setiap kali ada transfusi, keluarga pasien dapat menyediakan penggantinya.
“Dengan cara ini, kami berupaya agar setiap pasien yang membutuhkan tetap mendapat pasokan darah. Keluarga pasien pun jadi lebih terlibat langsung dalam proses penyelamatan nyawa,” jelas Nadya.
Tidak hanya itu, Nadya juga menghimbau masyarakat agar tidak perlu takut untuk donor darah selama menjalankan ibadah puasa. Menurutnya, waktu donor yang dipilih pada malam hari justru aman secara kesehatan.
“Jangan khawatir! Donor darah di malam hari setelah berbuka atau tarawih justru baik. Tubuh sudah terisi energi dan cairan, jadi tidak akan lemas. Ini aman dan sangat membantu saudara kita yang sedang kritis,” imbaunya dengan penuh semangat.
Sementara itu, Ketua PMI Aceh Utara, Thantawi, turun langsung memberikan pernyataan untuk menggugah kesadaran publik. Ia mengajak seluruh lapisan masyarakat agar berbondong-bondong datang ke kantor UDD atau mengikuti kegiatan donor keliling yang tersebar di berbagai titik.
“Saya mengajak seluruh warga Aceh Utara, jangan ragu! Datanglah langsung ke kantor UDD kami. Atau jika ada acara donor di lingkungan kalian, ikut serta. Setetes darah yang kalian berikan, manfaatnya luar biasa bagi pasien lain. Mari kita jadikan ibadah puasa ini lebih bermakna dengan membantu sesama,” ujar Thantawi dengan nada menggetarkan.
Ia menegaskan bahwa tim medis dan relawan PMI terus bergerilya ke berbagai lokasi strategis selama Ramadhan. Target utamanya adalah menjaga ketersediaan stok darah tetap aman hingga satu pekan setelah Hari Raya Idul Fitri 2026. Pasalnya, lonjakan kebutuhan darah biasanya terjadi saat libur panjang.
“Komitmen kami jelas: memastikan tidak ada satu pun warga yang kekurangan darah karena stok habis. Untuk itu, kami butuh uluran tangan dari semua pihak. Jangan biarkan saudara kita menunggu dengan cemas,” pungkasnya dengan penuh harap.
Dengan kondisi yang hanya cukup untuk dua hari, waktu benar-benar menjadi musuh. PMI Aceh Utara berharap gelombang kedermawanan masyarakat segera muncul, agar stok darah kembali pulih dan nyawa-nyawa dapat terselamatkan.
