“Iya nanti motor bisa lewat sini untuk putar balik,” kata Nono sambil menunjuk arah lintasan. “Rencananya jalur ini akan kami fungsikan sampai arus balik selesai. Sekarang ini kami masih proses penyempurnaan, memastikan semua kokoh dan aman,” janjinya penuh tanggung jawab.
Hebatnya lagi, semua ini mereka wujudkan tanpa mengemis belas kasihan. Semangat swadaya masyarakat benar-benar teruji. Mereka menggalang dana secara mandiri, dari kantong sendiri dan tetangga. Tak tanggung-tanggung, uang patungan yang terkumpul mencapai kurang lebih Rp 20 juta. “Kami patungan, ada yang nyumbang bambu, ada yang nyumbang tenaga, dan uangnya kami belikan kayu dolken dan material lain yang kuat,” ungkap Nono. Dana segar itu mereka putar untuk membeli material utama seperti bambu pilihan serta kayu penyangga berkualitas dari para pengusaha lokal yang ikut tergerak membantu. “Biaya material sekitar Rp 20 juta lebih, semuanya hasil patungan warga dan bantuan dari para pengusaha,” akunya penuh syukur.
Di sisi lain, inisiatif mulia ini secara tak terduga juga membawa berkah bagi perekonomian warga.
