Desapenari.id – Sungguh menghebohkan! Liu Xiaodong, seorang warga negara asing (WNA) asal Tiongkok yang menjadi tersangka utama pencurian emas fantastis seberat 774 kilogram, justru berhasil kabur dari status tahanan rumahnya. Lebih mengejutkan lagi, pria yang terlibat dalam kasus dengan kerugian mencapai Rp 1,02 triliun di areal konsesi PT Sultan Rafli Mandiri (PT SRM) ini, ternyata diam-diam meninggalkan Kabupaten Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat, tanpa izin. Untungnya, aparat berhasil menggagalkan rencananya dan menangkapnya di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia–Malaysia.
Kronologi penangkapan di Entikong pun akhirnya terungkap. Kepala Kesatuan Pengamanan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Ka KPLP) Kelas IIB Ketapang, Gerry Tri Aryadi, membenarkan adanya penetapan terbaru dari pengadilan. “Aku belum terinfo detailnya, tapi tadi aku lihat ada penetapan baru dari Pengadilan, dititip kembali. Untuk kronologinya mungkin bisa langsung tanya ke pihak pengawas,” jelas Gerry melalui pesan singkat pada Sabtu (7/2/2026). Penetapan ini secara resmi mengembalikan Liu ke dalam tahanan lembaga pemasyarakatan (Lapas).
Berdasarkan informasi yang berhasil dihimpun, sebelumnya Liu Xiaodong memang menyandang status tahanan hakim dengan skema penahanan rumah. Akan tetapi, ia malah menyalahgunakan kepercayaan tersebut dan nekat mencoba keluar dari wilayah Indonesia melalui pintu perbatasan Entikong, Kabupaten Sanggau. Petugas Imigrasi setempat dengan sigap berhasil mengadang pelariannya. Kemudian, Kepala Seksi Intelijen Kejaksaan Negeri Ketapang, Panter Rivay Sinambela, langsung bergerak cepat. “Iya, benar. Kami saat ini sedang dalam perjalanan menuju Entikong untuk menjemput yang bersangkutan,” tegas Panter saat dikonfirmasi.
Merespons insiden pelarian ini, Penasihat Hukum PT Sultan Rafli Mandiri, Wawan Ardianto, langsung mendesak aparat penegak hukum (APH) untuk mengusut tuntas. “Perlu dilakukan investigasi siapa terlibat, termasuk yang membawa Liu Xiaodong dari tahanan rumah sampai ke Entikong. Tidak mungkin dia berangkat sendiri,” kata Wawan dengan tegas. Ia menekankan bahwa pelarian tersangka ini berpotensi mencoreng citra aparat jika tidak ditangani secara transparan.
Selain itu, Wawan juga menyoroti kebijakan pemberian status tahanan rumah kepada Liu. “Untuk tahanan rumah mestinya banyak pertimbangan, apakah dia tidak melarikan diri. Nah, Liu kan pernah divonis satu tahun karena tindak pidana penganiayaan lalu melakukan tindak pidana lagi. Ditambah dia merupakan warga negara asing. Kalau ditahan di rumah, siapa yang bertanggung jawab?” cetusnya. Kritik ini menyoroti pentingnya pertimbangan mendalam sebelum memberikan izin tahanan rumah, terutama kepada tersangka dengan rekam jejak pidana dan status WNA.
Lantas, apa sebenarnya peran kunci Liu dalam kasus pencurian emas raksasa ini? Dalam perkara ini, Liu Xiaodong diduga berperan aktif dalam menjalankan aktivitas penambangan ilegal di wilayah IUP PT SRM. Menurut keterangan, ia dituding menggunakan aliran listrik secara ilegal dan bahan peledak (dinamit) untuk mendapatkan batu ore atau bijih emas. “Selama proses BAP berdasarkan saksi-saksi, peranan dia berada di lokasi PT Sultan Rafli Mandiri. Mestinya jika di SRM ada tambang emas, dia menggunakan listrik untuk menjalankan mesin dan bahan peledak untuk mendapatkan batu ore. Mereka melakukan produksi saat itu,” papar Wawan secara detail.
Berdasarkan data dari Sistem Informasi Penelusuran Perkara (SIPP) PN Ketapang, perkara Liu Xiaodong telah terdaftar dengan nomor 81/Pid.B/2026/PN Ktp. Awalnya, tersangka ini rencananya akan menjalani sidang perdana pada 19 Februari 2026 mendatang. Sebelum melarikan diri, hakim telah menetapkan masa penahanan rumah bagi Liu sejak 4 Februari hingga 5 Maret 2026. Namun, dengan adanya kejadian pelarian ini, status penahanannya dipastikan akan diperketat kembali di dalam Lapas Kelas IIB Ketapang. Tujuannya jelas, yaitu untuk menjamin kelancaran proses peradilan dan mencegah terulangnya insiden serupa.
