BLITAR, Desapenari.id – Sebuah musibah nahas menimpa seorang nenek di Blitar. Bagaimana tidak, niatnya sederhana hanya mencari daun pisang di pekarangan rumah, nyawanya malah harus melayang dengan cara yang paling tak terduga. Kartini (65), warga Desa Krisik, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Blitar, Jawa Timur, ditemukan dalam kondisi tak bernyawa di dalam septic tank. Peristiwa ini terjadi setelah sang nenek dilaporkan hilang dari rumah selama lima jam yang mencemaskan, tepat pada Kamis (19/3/2026).
Kronologi kejadian ini bermula ketika sang suami, Wagiran (60), masih sempat melihat Kartini asyik mencari daun pisang di pekarangan rumah mereka pada siang hari, sekitar pukul 12.00 WIB. Namun, waktu terus berjalan hingga pukul 15.00 WIB, sang istri tak kunjung menunjukkan batang hidungnya. Kekhawatiran pun langsung menyergap hati Wagiran. Ia pun bergegas berkeliling mencari keberadaan istrinya, namun hasilnya nihil. Panik dan tak ingin larut dalam ketakutan, Wagiran kemudian mengerahkan sejumlah tetangga untuk membantu proses pencarian.
Pencarian yang melelahkan itu akhirnya menemukan titik terang sekitar pukul 18.00 WIB. Saat itu, mata Wagiran menangkap sebuah keanehan pada beton penutup septic tank yang berada tak jauh dari samping rumahnya. Beton itu terlihat rusak dan menyisakan sebuah lubang menganga. Firasat buruk langsung menghantuinya. Dengan nekat, Wagiran mengambil tangga bambu dan menurunkannya ke dalam septic tank untuk memastikan isinya. Betapa kaget dan terpukulnya ia ketika mendapati sobekan kain pakaian yang dikenakan istrinya mengambang di dalam.
Tanpa membuang waktu, warga yang juga ikut membantu segera berkoordinasi dengan perangkat desa setempat. Mereka tak ingin mengambil risiko karena kondisi di dalam septic tank sangat terbatas dan berbahaya. Perangkat desa pun langsung menghubungi ibu camat, dan tanpa menunda-nunda, ibu camat segera mengontak Unit Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Kabupaten Blitar pada Kamis malam. Tim Damkar yang mendapat panggilan darurat itu langsung bergerak cepat. Mereka menyiapkan berbagai peralatan khusus yang dibutuhkan untuk evakuasi di area sempit dan langsung meluncur ke lokasi kejadian.
Proses evakuasi yang dilakukan tim Damkar tidaklah mudah. Mereka harus bekerja ekstra hati-hati di dalam lubang septic tank yang gelap dan minim oksigen. Kurang lebih dua jam lamanya petugas berjibaku mengeluarkan tubuh Kartini dari dalam septic tank. Hingga akhirnya, sekitar pukul 23.00 WIB, korban berhasil dievakuasi ke permukaan. Namun, harapan keluarga sirna sudah. Tim medis yang telah bersiaga di lokasi langsung memeriksa kondisi korban, dan memastikan bahwa Kartini sudah tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda kehidupan.
Kepala Unit Damkar Kabupaten Blitar, Tedy Prasojo, saat dikonfirmasi pada Jumat (20/3/2026) pagi, membenarkan kabar duka ini. “Korban sudah dalam keadaan meninggal setelah berhasil kami evakuasi dan tim medis memeriksanya,” ujar Tedy dengan nada prihatin.
Lebih lanjut, Tedy mengungkapkan temuan mengerikan pada tubuh korban. “Kami menemukan luka robek sepanjang sekitar 15 sentimeter di bagian kepala korban. Tim medis menduga luka parah itu merupakan akibat benturan keras dengan material beton penutup septic tank saat korban terjatuh,” jelasnya. Meski terdapat luka mengerikan di kepala, Tedy menegaskan bahwa dari hasil pemeriksaan tim medis, tidak ditemukan adanya tanda-tanda kekerasan lain yang mengarah pada tindak kriminal. “Menurut tim medis yang memeriksa, tidak ada tanda-tanda terjadinya tindak kekerasan pada tubuh korban,” tegas Tedy menambahkan.
Informasi yang dihimpun dari pihak keluarga memperkuat dugaan bahwa kejadian ini murni kecelakaan. Suami korban, Wagiran, memberikan kesaksian bahwa istrinya saat itu sedang fokus mencari daun pisang di sekitar pekarangan. Diduga, tanpa sengaja Kartini melangkah di atas penutup septic tank yang sudah rapuh. Akibatnya, beton tersebut ambrol dan membuat sang nenek terperosok ke dalam lubang. Wagiran pun menjelaskan bahwa kejadian nahas itu diperkirakan terjadi tak lama setelah pukul 12.00 WIB, saat ia masih sempat melihat istrinya di pekarangan.
Setelah sekian jam berlalu dan tak kunjung menemukan istrinya di sekitar rumah, Wagiran akhirnya mencurigai keberadaan septic tank tersebut. Kecemasan yang memuncak membawanya pada penemuan sobekan kain pakaian istri tercinta di dalam septic tank. Melihat kondisi itu, warga setempat langsung bergerak sigap. Mereka tak hanya membantu, tetapi juga melaporkan kejadian ini ke perangkat desa agar proses evakuasi bisa dilakukan dengan peralatan yang memadai.
Koordinasi yang cepat antara warga, perangkat desa, dan ibu camat pun menjadi kunci keberhasilan evakuasi meski berakhir tragis. Ibu Camat Gandusari yang mendapat laporan segera menghubungi Unit Damkar tanpa menunggu waktu. “Tim Damkar segera meluncur ke lokasi setelah mempersiapkan sejumlah peralatan yang dibutuhkan dalam evakuasi,” ujar Tedy menceritakan respons cepat aparatur setempat. Kejadian ini menjadi pelajaran pahit bagi seluruh warga akan pentingnya memeriksa kondisi infrastruktur rumah, terutama yang berpotensi membahayakan seperti penutup septic tank yang sudah rapuh.
