Bali Buleleng Siap Ekspor Arak ke China, Unggul Berkat Bahan Ental

DENPASAR, Desapenari.id – Gubernur Bali, I Wayan Koster, Buleleng dengan bangga mengumumkan bahwa produk arak lokal berhasil menembus pasar China. Dua kontainer arak asal Bali segera dikirim ke Negeri Tirai Bambu itu. “Arak yang dipilih berasal dari Buleleng karena rasanya unggul. China sendiri yang memilih karena kualitasnya memang istimewa,” jelas Koster, Senin (2/5/2025).

Lantas, apa yang membuat arak Buleleng berbeda dari daerah lain di Bali?Kadek Sudantara menjelaskan bahwa arak Buleleng mengungguli yang lain karena proses pembuatannya yang unik. “Kami menggunakan ental sebagai bahan utama, bukan sekadar kelapa atau jaka,” paparnya. “Bahan inilah yang memberi cita rasa khas—tidak terlalu keras, tapi tetap berkarakter kuat,” tambahnya.

“Ketika diminum, arak ental terasa lebih halus di tenggorokan,” jelas Sudantara. “Berbeda dengan arak kelapa yang kadang bikin mabuk cepat, arak ental lebih ramah di kepala,” ujarnya sambil tertawa.

Para pembeli setia pun membuktikan sendiri keunggulan rasa ini. “Mereka yang pernah mencoba pasti langsung tahu bedanya,” tegas Sudantara. “Ini bukan sekadar klaim—arak Buleleng memang punya bukti di lidah!”

Kadek Sudantara (35), tokoh muda Desa Adat Ngis, Buleleng, yang juga pedagang arak, punya jawabannya. Menurutnya, arak Bali umumnya terbuat dari tiga bahan: ental, jaka, atau kelapa. “Di Buleleng, khususnya daerah timur seperti Tejakula, ental jadi bahan utama. Inilah yang membedakannya,” tambah Sudantara.

 “Teksturnya keras mirip arak kelapa, tapi tidak bikin mabuk cepat. Arak kelapa justru lebih cepat memabukkan,” jelasnya.

Harga arak sendiri bervariasi, tergantung kadar alkohol dan proses pembuatannya. Sudantara biasa menjual arak dengan kadar 20-25% seharga Rp20.000 per botol 600 ml. “Kalau kadarnya sampai 30%, harganya bisa naik jadi Rp40.000 per botol,” lanjutnya.

Proses pembuatan juga memengaruhi harga. “Arak yang diproses secara tradisional dengan bambu panjang rasanya lebih lembut dan enak. Makin rumit prosesnya, makin mahal harganya,” beber Sudantara.

Ekspor arak ke China ini memberikan angin segar bagi perekonomian Bali. Sudantara mengaku sekarang lebih berani berjualan setelah Gubernur Koster melegalkan arak. “Dulu polisi bisa menindak kami sewaktu-waktu,” ujarnya. Sekarang, selama konsumsinya tidak berlebihan, tidak ada masalah. Lagi pula, apa pun yang berlebihan pasti tidak baik,” tandasnya.

Dengan begitu, arak Buleleng tidak hanya jadi kebanggaan lokal, tapi juga siap bersaing di pasar global. “Ini bukti bahwa produk tradisional kita bisa diterima dunia,” pungkas Sudantara penuh semangat.
