JAKARTA, Desapenari.id – Suasana di Jalan Tongkol, Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara, terasa berbeda menjelang Lebaran tahun ini. Adi Supriyatna (40), seorang pengusaha rental mobil, menghela napas panjang saat kami temui di tempat usahanya, Kamis (19/3/2026). Dengan jujur ia mengakui, permintaan sewa mobil untuk mudik Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah di tempatnya mengalami penurunan cukup signifikan.
“Kalau tahun ini sih dilihat agak menurun, masih mendingan tahun kemarin,” ucapnya sambil sesekali melirik deretan mobil yang terparkir rapi di halaman rentalnya.
Jumlah Pesanan Jauh dari Ekspektasi
Adi kemudian membuka catatan pemesanannya. Total pesanan sewa mobil yang ia terima untuk Lebaran tahun ini hanya mencapai 18 unit. Jumlah ini jelas lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan Lebaran tahun lalu yang berhasil menembus 25 unit. Ia pun tak bisa menyembunyikan kekecewaannya, pasalnya momen Lebaran biasanya menjadi bulan panen bagi para pengusaha rental seperti dirinya.
Lantas, apa yang sebenarnya terjadi? Mengapa masyarakat seolah enggan menyewa mobil untuk pulang kampung tahun ini?
Libur Kantor Terlalu Mepet, Penyewa Ogah Ambil Risiko
Setelah mengamati situasi, Adi menemukan jawabannya. Menurut dia, penurunan permintaan ini terjadi karena banyak perusahaan memberikan masa libur yang cukup singkat kepada para karyawannya. Akibatnya, calon penyewa berpikir ulang dan enggan mengambil paket sewa jangka panjang seperti biasanya.
“Kebanyakan dari perusahaannya liburnya terlalu mepet. Mereka (calon penyewa) enggak bisa ngambil spekulasi untuk libur panjang,” jelas Adi sambil menggeleng-gelengkan kepala.
Situasi ini jelas memukul para pengusaha rental. Pasalnya, mereka sudah menyiapkan berbagai paket menarik untuk menarik minat penyewa.
Durasi Sewa Makin Pendek, Tarif Ikut Terpengaruh
Adi kemudian menjelaskan, biasanya ia menawarkan paket sewa mobil khusus periode mudik Lebaran dengan durasi 10 hari. Untuk mobil keluarga seperti Toyota Avanza, Rush, dan Daihatsu Terios, tarif yang dipatok mencapai sekitar Rp7.500.000. Namun tahun ini, pola penyewaan berubah drastis.
“Paling minim sekarang lima hari, tujuh hari,” ungkapnya dengan nada pasrah. Penyewa lebih memilih durasi pendek yang tentu saja berdampak pada pendapatan yang ia peroleh.
Padahal, di hari biasa saja penyewaan mobilnya rata-rata hanya mencapai dua hingga tiga unit per hari. Tarif harian normal pun berkisar Rp400.000. Saat Lebaran, ia memang menaikkan tarif menjadi sekitar Rp800.000 per hari atau menawarkan paket khusus yang lebih menguntungkan.
Meski Sepi, Lebaran Tetap Jadi Primadona
Meski tahun ini mengalami penurunan, Adi menegaskan bahwa momen Lebaran tetap menjadi periode puncak permintaan bagi usaha rental mobilnya. Ia tak bisa memungkiri, euforia mudik selalu menghidupkan bisnisnya setiap tahun.
“Selalu diminati setiap tahun itu momen-momen Lebaran. Entah dia sewa baru, entah dia sewa lama (langganan),” tuturnya dengan senyum tipis.
Berdasarkan pengalaman tahun-tahun sebelumnya, ia memperkirakan keuntungan yang bisa ia raup selama musim Lebaran mencapai sekitar Rp50 juta. Tentu angka ini masih cukup menggiurkan meskipun tahun ini targetnya mungkin tak akan tercapai.
Mobil Besar Tiga Baris Tetap Jadi Raja Jalanan
Menariknya, Adi mengamati bahwa preferensi konsumen terhadap jenis mobil tidak banyak berubah. Mobil keluarga berkapasitas besar masih menjadi primadona utama para penyewa yang hendak mudik.
Menurut pengalamannya, kendaraan dengan tiga baris kursi jauh lebih diminati. Alasannya sederhana: mobil ini mampu mengangkut seluruh anggota keluarga besar sekaligus barang bawaan yang biasanya cukup banyak saat mudik.
“Nah kalau mobil kecil kayak Brio itu kan dia kapasitasnya cuma empat orang, barang pun kan enggak banyak gitu. Kebanyakan mobil-mobil tiga seat,” paparnya merinci.
Keamanan Jadi Prioritas Utama Sebelum Mobil Jalan
Sebagai pengusaha yang sudah lama berkecimpung di bisnis ini, Adi paham betul bahwa kepercayaan pelanggan adalah segalanya. Karena itu, sebelum semua mobil disewakan untuk mudik, ia memastikan seluruh kendaraan diperiksa secara menyeluruh. Pemeriksaan mencakup kondisi mesin, rem, ban, hingga oli.
“Kita enggak mau main asal kasih aja, kita seperti oli kita gantikan dulu buat kenyamanan mereka. Kita kan jasa, kita gimana pelayanan jasa kita dia nyaman,” tambahnya dengan nada serius.
Ia tak mau ambil risiko memberikan mobil dalam kondisi kurang prima. Perjalanan mudik yang jauh tentu membutuhkan kendaraan yang benar-benar siap tempur. Dengan memberikan pelayanan terbaik, ia berharap para penyewa merasa nyaman dan puas sehingga kelak kembali menjadi pelanggan setia.
Kini, Adi hanya bisa berharap bahwa di sisa waktu menjelang Lebaran masih akan ada pemesan tambahan. Meski libur kantor mepet dan durasi sewa pendek, ia tetap bersyukur karena usahanya masih bisa berjalan. Semoga saja tahun depan situasi kembali normal dan para pemudik kembali antusias menyewa mobil di tempatnya.
