Selain itu, proses pemusnahan ini disaksikan langsung oleh perwakilan BNN dan Kejaksaan untuk menjamin transparansi.
Di sisi lain, Kapolda Babel Irjen Pol Hendro Pandowo menegaskan bahwa operasi ini menyelamatkan lebih dari 50.000 jiwa. Misalnya, 5,6 kg sabu yang dimusnahkan setara dengan 50.344 dosis yang bisa merusak generasi muda. Tak hanya itu, pihak kepolisian juga berhasil mengungkap 155 kasus narkoba dalam empat bulan terakhir.
Sementara itu, Direktur Narkoba Polda Babel Kombes Slamet Ady Purnomo mengungkap fokus pengawasan di jalur laut. Akibatnya, mereka berhasil menekan peredaran narkoba hingga 27% di wilayah tersebut. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat diminta terus waspada dan aktif melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan.
