Namun, Asosiasi Hotel Thailand melaporkan bahwa pemesanan hotel di destinasi utama seperti Chonburi dan Bangkok masih sangat rendah. TTB Bank memproyeksikan pengeluaran wisatawan selama festival turun sekitar 13,5%.
Menteri Pariwisata Thailand dan Otoritas Pariwisata Thailand (TAT) telah mempersiapkan acara besar untuk Songkran 2025. Di Bangkok, festival akan berlangsung dari 11 hingga 15 April dengan kampanye pemasaran yang mencakup pasar domestik dan internasional. Penyelenggara menggelar acara serupa di berbagai provinsi populer seperti Chiang Mai, Phuket, Khon Kaen, dan Songkhla.
Namun, meski ada optimisme di banyak tempat, beberapa daerah mengalami penurunan signifikan dalam pemesanan hotel. Chonburi, misalnya, mencatat penurunan hingga 67%, sementara Bangkok mengalami penurunan sekitar 31%. TTB Bank juga memproyeksikan pengeluaran wisatawan domestik turun sebesar 5,2%. Berkurangnya wisatawan China, yang biasanya menghabiskan lebih banyak uang, sebagian besar mempengaruhi penurunan ini.
