Pemerintah Kota Bandung sebelumnya menargetkan kedatangan 1 juta wisatawan selama periode tersebut. Namun, pada periode 28 Maret hingga 7 April 2025, hanya tercatat 370.718 wisatawan yang berkunjung.

Penyebab Turunnya Target
Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, mengungkapkan bahwa salah satu penyebab melesetnya target adalah penurunan daya beli masyarakat. Farhan menjelaskan bahwa banyak wisatawan yang awalnya berencana menginap selama beberapa hari, akhirnya mempersingkat masa inap mereka atau memilih untuk pulang-pergi. Bahkan, sebagian orang yang sebelumnya berencana untuk berangkat, akhirnya membatalkan perjalanannya.
“Kelihatannya karena masalah daya beli, orang yang mau nginep tiga hari jadi satu hari, yang mau nginep satu hari jadi pulang-pergi,” kata Farhan.
Ia juga menepis anggapan bahwa masyarakat sudah bosan mengunjungi Bandung. Farhan menegaskan bahwa fenomena sepi wisatawan juga terjadi di berbagai destinasi populer di Indonesia, termasuk Bali. Menurutnya, tingkat kunjungan di Bali turun sekitar 30 persen pada saat yang sama.
Salah satu tempat wisata yang mengalami penurunan jumlah pengunjung adalah Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Ir. H. Juanda. Di tahun-tahun sebelumnya, taman ini dapat menarik hingga 5.000 pengunjung pada puncak liburan Lebaran. Namun, tahun ini, pengunjungnya hanya mencapai 3.500 orang per hari.
Kepala UPTD Tahura Juanda Bandung, Lutfi Erizka, membandingkan jumlah pengunjung pada libur Lebaran 2025 dengan libur panjang lainnya, seperti saat Isra Miraj dan Tahun Baru Imlek. “Pengunjung saat libur panjang Januari kemarin bisa mencapai 6.000 orang per hari. Kini, jumlahnya menurun,” ujar Lutfi.
Sementara itu, di Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB), kunjungan wisata meningkat 10 persen dibandingkan tahun lalu, meski okupansi hotel tetap menurun. Eko Suprianto, pengelola Terminal Wisata Grafika Cikole (TWGC) di Lembang, menyatakan bahwa okupansi hotel di wilayah tersebut hanya mencapai 70 persen, sedikit menurun dari 73 persen pada tahun lalu.

Eko berharap adanya dukungan lebih dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan promosi dan menarik wisatawan. Ia mengusulkan agar pemerintah mengadakan event skala nasional untuk menarik lebih banyak pengunjung ke Lembang dan sekitarnya di libur mendatang.
