Desapenari.id – Canda tawa seorang bocah di sore hari berubah menjadi pekikan histeris yang menggetarkan Dusun Gunung Tangis. Dalam sekejap, rumah sederhana milik Moh. Jalil (30) di Desa Rek Kerrek, Kecamatan Palengaan, Pamekasan, Jawa Timur, berubah menjadi lokasi tragedi yang tak terduga. Sebuah ledakan dahsyat dari dalam septic tank tak hanya merobek tanah, tapi juga merenggut nyawa buah hati tercinta, AAF (4), yang masih berusia belia.
Kisah nahas ini bermula ketika AAF sedang asyik bermain di sekitar area septic tank bersama teman sebayanya. Siapa yang menyangka jika tempat yang biasa mereka gunakan untuk berpura-pura menjadi petualang itu tiba-tiba menyemburkan kekuatan mematikan. Ledakan tersebut begitu kuat hingga memecah kesunyian dan membuat warga sekitar berhamburan keluar rumah.
Orangtua korban, Moh. Jalil, langsung tersentak saat mendengar suara gemuruh disusul teriakan tetangga. Tanpa pikir panjang, ia berlari menuju sumber suara. Di lokasi, pemandangan mengerikan sudah menanti: AAF tergeletak dengan luka parah di sekujur tubuhnya. Tim medis dari Puskesmas Palengaan kemudian bergerak cepat setelah menerima laporan. Mereka berupaya maksimal menstabilkan kondisi si kecil yang tak berdaya, namun luka yang diderita akibat hantaman material beton dari septic tank yang hancur terlalu berat. Dengan kondisi kritis, tim medis segera merujuk korban ke RSUD Smart Pamekasan untuk penanganan intensif. Namun, usaha heroik para dokter harus berakhir dengan kabar duka. AAF menghembuskan napas terakhirnya saat menjalani perawatan.
Kasi Humas Polres Pamekasan, Ipda Yoni Evan Pratama, menjelaskan bahwa penemuan pertama korban memang dilakukan oleh ayahnya sendiri. “Jasad mungil itu sudah dalam keadaan mengenaskan saat ditemukan. Orangtua bergegas setelah tetangga berteriak histeris,” ungkap Yoni Evan kepada awak media, Kamis (19/3/2026). Ia menambahkan, dugaan sementara mengarah pada kekuatan ledakan yang memicu terbentuknya proyektil-proyektil beton. Serpihan-serpihan itulah yang kemudian menghantam tubuh AAF dengan kecepatan tinggi, menyebabkan trauma fisik yang fatal.
Kini, tim investigasi dari Polres Pamekasan masih bekerja keras membongkar misteri di balik ledakan septic tank ini. Mereka tengah menelusuri berbagai kemungkinan pemicu, mulai dari akumulasi gas metan yang terbakar hingga faktor eksternal lain yang tidak terduga. “Kami masih menyelidiki secara intensif apa yang memicu terjadinya ledakan ini,” tegas Ipda Yoni. Sejumlah barang bukti vital telah diamankan dari Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP), termasuk pecahan-pecahan beton tajam dan serpihan pipa paralon yang dulunya merupakan bagian dari sistem pembuangan tersebut.
Yang menarik dari proses hukum ini, keluarga korban telah mengambil sikap legawa. Moh. Jalil, sang ayah, dengan tegas menyatakan bahwa peristiwa ini merupakan takdir dan kecelakaan murni. Mereka secara sadar menandatangani surat pernyataan resmi untuk tidak melanjutkan kasus ini ke ranah pidana. Selain itu, mereka juga menolak proses autopsi terhadap jenazah putra tercintanya, memilih untuk segera memakamkan dengan cara yang layak.
Ledakan septic tank sendiri sebenarnya bukan fenomena baru di pemukiman padat. Gas metan yang dihasilkan dari pembusukan tinja bersifat mudah terbakar. Jika tekanan gas di dalam ruang tertutup mencapai titik kritis dan bertemu dengan percikan api, ledakan pun tak terhindarkan. Di Dusun Gunung Tangis, dugaan sementara mengarah pada aktivitas anak-anak yang mungkin tanpa sengaja memicu percikan api di dekat lubang atau saluran septic tank.
Menyikapi kejadian ini, Polres Pamekasan langsung mengeluarkan imbauan keras kepada seluruh masyarakat, terutama para orang tua. Mereka meminta agar pengawasan terhadap anak-anak diperketat, terutama saat bermain di area yang berisiko tinggi. “Jangan biarkan buah hati bermain di dekat tangki pembuangan, area dengan potensi kebocoran gas, atau benda-benda mudah terbakar lainnya,” pesan Yoni Evan mengingatkan.
Tragedi di Pamekasan ini menjadi alarm keras bagi kita semua. Sebuah infrastruktur rumah tangga yang terlihat biasa saja, ternyata bisa menyimpan ancaman laten yang mematikan. Kejadian ini membuka mata bahwa keselamatan anak tidak hanya tentang bahaya yang kasat mata, seperti listrik atau kendaraan, tapi juga ancaman tak terduga dari dalam tanah seperti gas metan.
Dengan meninggalnya AAF, satu keluarga di Desa Rek Kerrek kehilangan tawa riang yang biasa menghiasi sore mereka. Masyarakat setempat kini bergotong royong memeriksa kondisi septic tank masing-masing, berharap tak ada lagi korban jiwa akibat ledakan serupa. Peristiwa ini mengajarkan bahwa kewaspadaan harus dimulai dari hal-hal paling kecil di lingkungan kita sendiri, sebelum semuanya terlambat.
